Self paced course: Divergent and Creative thinking
The ability to think divergently and creatively is one of the key attributes of a interdisciplinary or transdisciplinary researcher. The course comprises of slides which introduce ideas and techniques with a recorded voice over by the instructor. The course is a self paced, e-learning course taking place over 8 sessions which enables participants to develop their divergent and reflective thinking. Each session introduces a different technique and gives participants time to practice what this technique and share their thoughts with other participants and the course facilitator in a private forum.
Each session should take the participant approximately half an hour to listen to with further time needed to practice during their work or personal time.
Prerequisites:
Participants should have completed the main course.
Participants should have completed the Reflective thinking course.
Each session will be made available to participants some time after previous sessions have been completed. The time between sessions will be agreed with the course organiser but should be at least the following day and at most the following week.
